As we age, it is common for us to pickup unproductive habits. From staying up too late, binge eating or being on the phone too long. However, laziness will only slow us down from reaching our goals. Breaking up from that lazy era may be difficult, but take it from someone who's been there. It is entirely possible. Baby steps are the key to this when starting out. I learned that embracing those small changes is what really led to success. A highly recommended first step towards increased productivity is to start your day off early. The thought of the alarm going off early in the morning may be off-putting, but the benefits are endless especially when you start seeing the sun earlier than usual. Helps concentrate right from the start, this helps with your energy levels to keeping your body in full check, you will feel like you are at peak with yourself its honestly such a great feeling too. So if you don't think early mornings give you a boost think again because it surely helped me start the day off right. Which can truly transform your daily routine and overall well being.

1.Waking up early

2. Journal plan

love to start out my day by embracing a plan in the morning. I find joy in sketching out my aspirations for the day, crafting a vision that guides and motivates me. This task has been one of my favorites to do for so many reasons. Just getting up and writing what I want to get done is so enriching and is like a gentle nudge that propels me to go twoards my goals while keeping me accountable. Its also a great reflection on my progress of what I've achieved and what still needs to be achieved. Jotting down certain things also nurtures your memory. Remember, this journal is YOUR journal so you can write your most innermost thoughts, a space where you can express yourself, and a great mental check to ourselves in general. If you're not a person who likes writing on paper a digital journal offer a sleek alternative that can streamline your routine as well. Even a brief short sentence for 10minutes can set a positive tone to your day. be neat to use and low-key saves more time but on the other hand a quick 10 min journal write up is all you need in order to start your day off right. Like I said since this is a journal where you can write whatever you want I always find it nice to get into my creativity zone! different styled pens especially the micro point pens have made my relativity spark go high and the popular vibrant markers poof, it will literally transform your journal into a tapestry of inspiration. Let this be the sweet beginning of your daily growth and self-discovery.

3. Eat a full breakfast

Starting my day with a hearty breakfast has been a game changer. I've noticed that having my meal before 10 am has really increased my energy levels. This simple change can be transformational. I have personally seen my cholesterol levels improve significantly since making breakfast early as part of my routine. The difference is astounding. Now, I know time can be a conflict. Many people skip out on breakfast because they have to get to work right away or maybe the issue is sleeping in whatever the case is. But here's a tip that's worked for me: I cook my meals in advance. This ties back to waking up early, even with 3o min to spare you can still get a nutritious heart meal in. That is why I meal prep. I prepare my food for three days worth of meals to keep things fresh. I use durable meal containers from target. This is also way healthier than grabbing a croissant and coffee at Starbucks and you'll save a bunch of money. Plus, you won;t have to deal with those long drive thru lines. If you're looking to learn more on how to effectively plan your meals and understand the tips n benefits of early breakfast, checkout Rozians book "What to eat When". It's super enlightening. Now let's go make some breakfast.

4. Drink water

Okay I know lots of people say Drink water every morning but I cannot stress how important this is. Like your body slept for 7-8 hours without water crazy to think. Replenishing your body’s water supply first thing in the morning is essential to kickstart your day. I try to make a habit of putting my water on my nightstand, making sure it’s the first thing I see when I wake up. This simple habit plays a crucial role in flushing out toxins and maintaining the balance of our lymphatic system, effectively preventing the sluggishness often referred to as “brain fog”. If you want to spice up your water, adding a slice of lemon provides the boost of electrolytes you need and I just love the flavor too. If you are a person who struggles to drink water right away in the morning, invest in an attractive water bottle, like an ombre design or a lively pattern that will inspire you to drink your water consistently!

5. Exercise

Emphasizing the importance of exercise is something I wouldn't skip out on. It is literally the definition of powerhouse for both physical and mental well being. Exercise isn't just about controlling weights; it also uplifts your mood, boosts energy, provides better sleep and can be a delightful social activity. As a gym girly, I still advocate for any form of physical activity-be it Pilates, running, calisthenics or even household chores. Every bit of movement counts. To gain the benefits of an active lifestyle, just simply implement more physical activity into your daily routine. Consistency is key, and the results both mentally and physically will speak for themselves. Consider making changes, instead of parking close to the store park farther so you can increase your step count. Personally, exercise has not only helped me stay in shape but also instilled a mindset of consistency and discipline that is rare to find. This habit is transformative, and I am confident that you can integrate these things and get out of the slump era!
